transfer in lombardy
Which is the ideal environment to invest in research and innovation? Lombardy:
an interconnected ecosystem where public and private entities are part of an integrated value chain;
excellence in training and research thanks to universities, research institutes, research hospitals (IRCCS), networks, social and healthcare facilities, clinical trials;
a powerful setting featuring two new dedicated centres, namely Città della Salute and MIND, created around Human Technopole;
a highly innovative production system based on a long-standing manufacturing tradition with a strong international outlook.
Technology transfer activities are constantly evolving with the subsequent need for dedicated strategies within the value-producing players to ensure long-term benefits.
The pilot project
The pilot project, done with the support of the European Union and the Lombardy Region, involved a cluster member who was willing to evaluate its internal structure to oversee the technology transfer process.
This is how a customisable best practice, a brief introductory guide to intellectual property and a disclosure form template were defined.
